According to the regulation of the Council of Higher Education, transfers can be happen with 3 different methods.
Students of our university; Intra-institutional Transfer
Transfer from a different university to our university; Inter-institutional Lateral Transfer
Transfer with their ÖSYM score; Transfer with Additional Clause
NOTE; In Intra-institutional Transfer, transfers can be made with the ÖSYM score.

Applications can be made to all classes within the maximum period and within the quota.
Among the students who have been placed in the undergraduate programs of our University through International / ÖSYS placement or Undergraduate Transfer as of 2024, those who have an IB Diploma and whose diploma grade is at least 29 out of 45, the grades they receive in this diploma program are counted towards the TEDU courses in the Appendix-1.
Yes, Turkish citizens can apply for intra-institutional undergraduate transfer with IB diploma. Application and admission conditions are given below.

In undergraduate transfers, students must have a grade point average of at least 2.29 out of 4.00 or at least 60 out of 100 (including the passing grade until the class or semester they will enter). For students who will apply for transfer in accordance with Additional Article 1; Success requirement is not sought provided that the student's central placement score in the year he/she is enrolled is equal to or higher than the base score of the target diploma program.
(1) Students applying from outside TEDU are required to certify their English proficiency.
(2) Applicants are required to take TEDU-EPE or present a valid exam result from national and international exams recommended by the ELS and accepted as equivalent by the Senate.
(3) Applicants from a Turkish-medium or partially foreign language medium institution, applying with a Central Placement Score (within the scope of the Additional Article 1 of the related regulation), who are first-year students or attending the preparatory class but cannot certify their English proficiency can be admitted to the Basic English Preparatory Class.
(4) Applicants who have been successful in the proficiency exam of the related higher education institution, and who are registered to the University for the first time with transfer from a 100% English-medium program of a higher education institution can directly start the undergraduate program.
Students can transfer only once based on their central placement score. However, students who have made transfer in accordance with the aforementioned article can return to the higher education institution, where they were entitled to enroll as a result of ÖSYS central placement, during the next application window.
Our university only accepts applications from students who are in formal education.
No, having suspended your study does not prevent you from using your transfer right. You can transfer with intra-institutional transfer, inter-institutional transfer and transfer via central placement score provided that you meet the required conditions.
Those who have been dismissed from university are not eligible for undergraduate transfer.
No, our university does not have any program that admits via special talent exam.
You can transfer to undergraduate programs, provided that you had the central placement score of the target program in the year you registered at the university.
If you have completed the maximum period in the preparatory class but you have not been dismissed, you can apply for transfer to our university. However, since the language of instruction at our university is 100% English, you must take the EPE exam prepared by the English Language School or submit your valid exam result from national and international exams that are accepted as equivalent. If you are successful in the exam, you will skip the preparation and register directly to the faculty, and if you fail, you will be registered to the preparatory class.

Üniversiteye ÖSYS ile yerleştirilen öğrencilerden, kurum içi veya kurumlararası kontenjanından yatay geçiş yapan öğrencilerin bursları, yatay geçiş yaptıkları programın Üniversiteye kayıt yaptırdıkları yıla ait ÖSYS puanına karşılık gelen burs oranlarına göre belirlenir. Kendi Üniversitenizde aldığınız burslardan üniversitemizde faydalanamazsınız.
Hayır. Yatay geçiş kaydı tamamlandıktan sonra Üniversitemizden alacağın belgeyi KYK’ya ibraz edersen bursun devam eder.
