GENERAL INFORMATION

Student ID cards are given to students after registration to the university and these ID cards are valid through the duration student is registered to a program.

In order to receive their ID cards after having registered with the University, the IPO students must first submit a photocopy of the document which contains the YKN (Foreigner Identification Number, starting with 99) to the Student Affairs.

Next, they must contact the Cebeci Branch Office of Denizbank in 20 workdays to receive their cards in person when available showing their passports. These IDs are valid as long as the student is registered at the program.

Student ID cards are required to pass through the turnstiles at the entrance of the University. In case you do not receive your card in 30 days by the start of courses, your card will be disposed of. An extra fee will be charged for a new card.

Student ID cards are free of charge. However, a fee must be paid for renewal due to card loss or damage. In case of getting an official record regarding the loss of ID card which is provided by the police, security staff or any other official unit, the student can make an application for a new card with this record without making any payment.
