GENERAL INFORMATION
- The Summer School is not obligatory, it is optional. In general it is followed in order to complete the incomplete credits or to compensate failed courses.
- The summer school is the expedited copy of the 14 week long courses of the Fall or Spring semesters. The duration of education is 7 weeks and weekly course hours are 6 hours per a course of 3 credits.
- The students can follow maximum 2 courses during the summer school. Only those who are in graduation status might follow 3 courses with the approval of their advisors.
- During the summer school there is no add/drop period or late registration.
- Course withdrawal is possible until two weeks prior to the beginning of the summer school examinations.
- The time spent at the summer school is not included in the general education period.
- Students who are on internship during summer may not take courses from Summer School programs according to the Rules and Regulations governing the Internship Programs for Undergraduate Students

SUMMER SCHOOL TUITON FEE
The information concerning the summer school fee is available on the following link:
2023-2024 Academic Year Summer Semester Tuition Fees | TED University (tedu.edu.tr)
- The students who do not pay the summer school tuition fee cannot register to the summer school courses.
- The tuition fee of the withdrawn courses is not reimbursed.
- The tuition fee paid for the cancelled courses due to insufficient number of registration is transferred for the following semester’s tuition fee.
- Students who are enrolled at another University and want to study in summer school at our University will pay fees which determined for TED University students.

- In order to open a course (course group) at Summer School, minimum eight (8) students must have been registered at that course (group) according to the related University Administrative Board decision. Courses with 8 students or less are to be cancelled. To this end, it is possible that certain courses may be cancelled at the end of registration period. This condition is not sought provided that minimum four (4) of the students registered at that course are in graduation status.
SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE ENROLMENT
The summer school course enrolment procedures are as follows:
- Payment of the tuition fee (those who are obligated to pay the tuition fee)
- Evaluation of the CCR documents and determination of the courses to be followed
- Registration (except English Language School students)
- Determination of the module group modifications of the courses followed during the previous semesters on the student portal and making the necessary amendments
- Receiving the approval of the advisor
The course registration is done via MyTEDU Portal.
Course enrolment and advisor approvals begin at 9am on the first day of registration procedures. The enrolment operations close at 18.00 pm and the advisor approvals close at 23.59 pm on the last day of enrolment operations.
The students can get in contact with their advisors through the student portal course registration screen concerning the courses they wish to follow.
After having completed the registration procedures and having received the advisor approvals, the necessary amendments are done with the approval of the advisors.
STUDENT PASSWORDS
Prior to the beginning of the enrolment process, it is recommended to verify the student passwords. The password alterations can be done on the MyTEDU Portal.

- In case of password blockage due to multiple attempts, students may submit to the taking help@tedu.edu.tr address questions and issues.
Students who have forgotten their passwords or cannot access otherwise to their MyTEDU Portal or TEDUPass accounts may reset their passwords through the following link: http://reset.tedu.edu.tr/
VERIFICATION OF THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM
In the following situations the registration system will not allow course registration:
- If the tuition fee is not paid
- If the course load is exceeded
- If the regulation conditions are not met in probational situations
- If the preconditions are not met
THE STUDENTS WHO WISH TO FOLLOW COURSES WHICH ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT TEDU SUMMER SCHOOL FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES
TED University students can take courses under special student status from the universities mentioned below;
- The related course or its equivalent must be unavailable at TEDU Summer School.
- Provided that a preapproval has been received from the department, students can take courses from the Summer Schools of Bilkent, Boğaziçi, Koç, ODTÜ and Sabancı Universities or from any other higher education institution approved by the related faculty or department.
- Students can take total three courses maximum in this respect during their entire undergraduate study.
Procedures:
- The student submits a petition to the head of department of his/her department.
- The respective head of department informs the student about the relative administrative board decision concerning the validity of the course to be followed in another university.
- The student completes his/her registration procedures to the respective university summer school.
- At the end of the summer school period, the student receives the transcript in an enclosed envelope and submits it to the Dean’s Office.
- For validation of the course, the respective faculty receives the decision (approval/refusal).
STUDENTS FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES WHO WISH TO FOLLOW COURSES AT TEDU SUMMER SCHOOL
