The summer school is the double time of the 14 week Fall and Spring semester education program. The duration of education is 7 weeks and 6 hours per week for a 3 credit course. Due to this rapid pace, the students can take only 2 courses during the summer school. The summer school allows the students to compensate the courses they have failed and complete their deficient credits. The summer school is subject to tuition fee for all the students (the admission scholarships can only be used by students who have registered the university in 2012 and 2013). The beginning and ending dates of the summer school are indicated on the academic calendar. In 2013-2014 academic year the school functioned only for English Language School. Courses of the different faculties will be offered in the summer school, starting from 2015.
- The summer school is subject to tuition fee for all the students regardless of their scholarship status (except for the students who have registered in 2012-2013).
- There is no add-drop option in the summer school. Late registration is not allowed. Withdrawal is allowed only two weeks before the summer school exams start. The students who withdraw can not recover the tuition fee.
- The time spent in the summer school is not regarded as period of study.
- Only students at the term of graduation can take 3 courses with the approval of the consultant.
Taking courses in the summer school is optional. The courses are open according to request and participation rate. The tuition fees paid by students cover only the Fall and Spring semesters not the summer school courses. The courses of the summer school are charged according to the admission scholarships as mentioned in the table below. Vat exclusive.
